This building is considered the oldest brick building in Vermont.

Ransom-Rehlen House (1847)

Constructed from plans from England.  Two other houses using this design can be located in Orwell and The Shelburne Museum.

Higley House (1811)

Serves as the headquarters of the Castleton Historical Society.

The Federated Church (1833)

Designed by Thomas Dake, this lovely church holds a magnificent pulpit that is embraced by two spiral staircases.
